Salty has been working as a Paramedic for more than 20 years, primarily in 911 services with occasional emergent and non emergent transfers.
All those years of service, dealing with some of the community's finest individuals has made him a little "Salty" and that's where the Salty Medic name emerged.
Full disclosure, the majority of the people he deals with on the ambulance are just good, average, everyday folks, and he has nothing but the upmost respect for those patients as well as the individuals working in other departments of emergency services.
This store was started to have a little bit of fun with the old sayings and slang that's been around emergency services for years. Mix that together with an awesome logo, printed on quality shirts, has turned out to be really popular in the emergency services community and beyond.
Mrs. Salty(the boss) was wanting to get involved as well, so she started building the female apparel and clothing line, offering new and current fashion products at reasonable pricing with free shipping options. She has personally selected the collection and owns many (Salty says "to many") of the items.
Our Unique Items and Gifts section was started because we were finding items from suppliers that were just cool. We thought it would be a neat area on our site to offer some of these products for sale. There is a mix of made in America products as well as imported products on our store, some of them ship quickly from USA warehouses and a few of them have longer shipping times because of overseas warehouses.
